Corridor sits at the intersection where old meets new, offering an experience that’s sure to impress.

Squeeze in past the afternoon rush and head up through a rickety staircase that leads you through neon, candle-lit hideaways, to a cosy and sunny back deck. Or if you’re after more intimacy, continue your ascent to the share-house style room that boasts vintage décor and street-art-covered walls, coupled with cosy mood lighting.

But the fit-out is only the beginning. The ‘bar-chefs’ know their stuff and happily talk you through the finer points of all things alcoholic, from imaginative cocktails and concoctions to some of Newtown’s finest craft beers.

Where is Corridor Newtown?

We’re situated right in the middle of King Street Newtown, the perfect location for a relaxed night out.

What types of drinks do you serve?

We have an extensive range of craft beer, local and imported wines and a wide selection of cocktails. Our bar-chefs also create creative cocktails and new concoctions regularly to keep our cocktail menu ever-changing! We’ve been called a cocktail bar, but really we’re just here to serve up a good time, whatever drink that looks like for you.

Do you have live music?

While we’re not a dedicated live music venue, we’re working hard on getting live music back into Corridor. When we don’t have a band playing you can sit back and enjoy our team’s curated bar tunes.

Do you cater to private functions?

Definitely! If you’re having a party our top floor space is available for bookings, capable of seating 10, 20 or even up to 50+ for functions. Be sure to book ahead well in advance to ensure you get the date you want for your party.

What food do you have?

We have joined forces with the team from Confusion Eats to bring a fresh and exciting expansion of the food menu. The range consists of an ever evolving burger options, salads, share plates and sides.

We are happy to discuss any potential events you might be bringing to Corridor and are happy to work closely with you to create a great experience.

Will I have to make a booking?

While you don’t have to make a booking, we do recommend it if you can. Corridor is a fairly small bar, and while it makes for a cosy space it can fill up quickly on busy days. If you’re planning a night out with us, make sure to book ahead!

What's Newtown's bar scene like?

Look, if you’re planning on bar hopping, we won’t be offended. Maybe. There are a lot of good bars in Newtown (but none as good as Corridor!). If you’re looking for a dedicated wine bar, brewery bar, sports bar or beer garden, or Newtown pub we can recommend some in the area. But if you’re looking for relaxed vibes, great music and a damn good cocktail, Corridor is for you. And of course, if you’re looking for a rooftop bar Newtown, we’re is your best bet. Grab a seat on the roof on a warm summer’s night, get comfy, and our talented bartenders will bring you delicious drinks all night long.
